Hambros vaske- og badeanstalt i Borgergade, 1864. Oprettet af Københavns Kommune på foranledning af en donation skænket af den i London bosiddende bankier, Carl Joachim Hambro, der ønskede at skabe vaske- og badefaciliteter i byens fattige kvarterer.
